Answer:

3x+y = -1 -(1)

2x-3y = -8 ------------(2)

equation (1) x 3

9x+3y = -3

2x-3y = -8

----------------

11x = -11

x = -1

Substitute value of x in equation (1),

3(-1)+y = -1

-3+y = -1

y = 3-1

y = 2

x = -1 and y = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

The given equations are

3x + y = -1..........(1)

and , 2x -3y =-8.......(2)

multiplying equation (1) by by 3 we get,

9x +3y = -3........(3)

Now, Adding eq.(3) and easy.(2), we get

9x + 3y = -3

2x -3y = -1

..................

11x = -4

X = -4/11

Now putting X = -4/11 in eq. (1), we get

3*-4/11 + y =-1

y. = -1+12/11

y = -11+12/11

y = 1/2

hence, X = -4/11. and y = 1/2

I hope this will help uuuuu.
