By elimination method:-

x - y = 3.....(1)

3x - 2y = 19.....(2)

In equation (1) ....

x = 3 + y

Putting the value of x in equation (2)....

3(3 + y) - 2y = 19

9 + 3y - 2y = 19

y = 19 - 9

y = 10

Putting y= 10 in equation (1).....

x - 10 = 3

x = 3 + 10

x = 13
