• By increasing the charge Q of a capacitor, capacitance increases. In capacitor charges are present between the plates and between are dielectric. Charges are stored on the plate. As capacitance increases ability to store more electric charge also increases provided that voltage remain constant. When voltage increases capacitance decreases.
