Geeta had a Loss of Rs.800 in the whole transaction.

Given :

Sold each saree for = Rs.6000

One saree got = 25% Profit

Second Saree got = 25% Loss

To find :

The total Profit or Loss in the transaction.

Solution :-

The cost Price when profit % is 25% is Rs.4800

Cost Price is Rs.8000 when loss is 25%

6000 + 6000

12000

4800 + 8000

12800

12000 < 12800

Selling Price < Cost Price

It is a Loss

Loss = Cost Price - Selling Price

  12800 - 12000

  800

Geeta had a Loss of Rs.800 in the whole transaction.
