M.V.=rupees 40

N.V.=rupees 25

Profit percent= 4%

So...

M.V. × p% = N.V. × d%

40 × 40/100 = 25 × d/100

16/10 = 25 × d /100

16/10 = 1 × d/4

16 × 4 /10 = d

6.4 % = d

NOW,

Dividend = n × d% × N.V.

=60 × 6.4 × 25 /100

=6 × 64 × 25/100

=96.....
