By remainder theorem find the remainder when , p(x)= 4x³- 12x² + 14x - 3 is divided by g(x) =2x - 1.
2x - 1 = 0
2x = 1
x = ½
According to remainder theorem apply the value of x in p(x)
p(x) = 4x³- 12x² + 14x - 3
p(½) = 4(½)³ - 12(½)² + 14(½) - 3
= 4(⅛) - 12(¼) + 7 - 3
