and cost price of the same be y
therefore 33x - 33y = 11x
gain percent is (x-y)/y
find x in terms of y in the first equation and substitute in the 2nd one.

Sp of 33 meter  = rs 33

Gain = sp of 11 = rs 11

So, cp = sp - gain = 22

Gain percent = gain/cp*100= 11/22*100=50%(ans)
