SP of 8 bananas=₹12
SP of 1 banana =₹12/8
as per the ques. he had 25%profit.
Let the CP of 1 banana be x.
x+25%ofx=12/8
x+25x/100=12/8
x=12×100/125×8
x=6/5
Now,let the no. of bananas be y
1 banana costs ₹6/5
therefore,y bananas costs ₹12
y=12×5/6
y=10
