for finding that we should find the C. P
C. P=100/100-loss%×S. P
C. P=100/100-12%×2024
C. P=100/88×2024
C. P=100×23
C. P=2300
if he wants 12%gain then the selling price is,
S. P=100+gain%/100×C.P
S. P=100+12/100×2300
S. P=112×23
S. P=2576

therefore the selling price when the gain% is 12% is 2576
