Heya friend,

Given that

SP = ₹1,440

Loss = 10%

Solution

CP = SP×100/100-Loss%

= 1,440×100/100-10

= 1,440×100/90

= ₹16,000

Thanks

The price did he buy it "₹ 16,00".

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Selling price (SP) = ₹ 1,440  and loss = 10%

What price did he buy it = ?

We know that,

CP = SP × \dfrac{100}{100-Loss}

= 1,440 × \dfrac{100}{100-10}

= 1,440 × \dfrac{100}{90}

= ₹16,00

Hence, the price did he buy it "₹ 16,00".
