If Ruby loses 18% by selling a dozen night suits for Rs.4920, she is selling it with the price of 82%(100%-18%)of real cost.
Let real cost of a dozen night suits be x
 \frac{82x}{100}  = 4920
x=4920*100/82
x=6000

Let y be real price of one night suit
y=x/12
y=6000/12=500

Let z be the price of one night suit with 15%profit

z=(115/100)y
z=500+115/100
z=575
Thus , she will get 15%profit when she sells each night suit for Rs.575

yeah34: selling price= 765₹ and loss=15%=100-15=85loss we find cp=100÷85×765=900 cp =900₹
yeah34: selling price =819₹ cost price =900₹ loss =900-819=₹81 , so loss in percentage is =900÷81×100=9%
yeah34: hope it helps
surendraSinghshekha: thanks
