By selling a house a person gets rs 2400000. He uses 1/2 of it to buy a small flat. He kept 1/2 of the remaining amount in the bank and he distributed the remaining part among his 3 children. What amount did each child get ? Find.

The Person Sells a House for 24 Lakhs ( Rs 2400000 )

He Uses 1/2 to Buy A Flat, So 2400000 Divided by 1/2 = 1200000

He Has 12 Lakhs Currently, Now He Keeps 1/2 of It. So 12 Lakhs Divided by 1/2 = 600000

Now He Gives 6 Lakhs to 3 Of Children Equally, So 600000 Divided by  3 = 200000

∴ Each Child Will Recive an Amount of 2 Lakhs ( Rs 200000 )
