Hi friend!!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let us see what information is given:-
S.P (Selling Price) = 56,320
Loss % = 12%
Now let us see what should we need to find:
C.P= ?
In some cases we need to find loss too but here I will tell you a direct method.
So now just think, If the cost price of motorcycle is 100 and loss% is 12% so Rs. 12 will be the loss so the selling price will be 100-12= 88
Now write in this way:
Cost Price Selling Price
100 88
x 56320
Now cross multiply
88*x=100*56320
88x=5632000
x=5632000/88
x=64000
So the Cost price is Rs.64000
Hope this helped you!
