Solution :-

given that,

→ Marked price = Rs. 1800

→ Discount = 25%

So,

→ selling price = {MP * (100 - Discount %)} / 100 = (1800 * 75)/100 = Rs. 1350

now,

→ Selling price = Rs. 1350

→ Profit = 20%

then,

→ Cost price = (SP * 100) / (100 + Profit %) = (1350 * 100)/120 = Rs. 1125 (Ans.)

Hence, the cost price will is Rs. 1125 .
