Let the CP be x
Therefore, x-20/100x= 8000
=> 4/5x =8000
=> x = 10000
Since SP> CP
So we have profit
Profit = 11000-10000
= 1000
Profit percent =1000/10000*100
=10%

Answer :-

S.P of the T.V = ₹8,000

Loss % = 20%

C.P = ?

C.P = S.P ×(100/100- Loss %)

= 8,000 ×(100/100-20)

= 8,000×100/80

= 10,000

C.P =₹10,000

S.P =₹11,000

S.P>C.P

Profit = S.P-C.P

= ₹11,000-₹10,000

= ₹1,000

There would be a profit of ₹1,000.
