Answer:

Selling Price = 5865

Profit = 15%

15% of 5865= 879.75

Therefore, Cost Price = 5868-879.75 = 4,985.25

Answer:

gain%= gain/C.P × 100

C.P = S.P - gain

so, g%=gain/(S.P-gain) × 100

let gain = g

so, 15/100 = g/(S.P-g)

=> 100g = 15.5865 - 15g

=> 115g = 15.5865

=>g=15.5865/115

=>g=765

so, C.P = 5865-765

C.P = 5100
