S.P =RS. 825
Loss=1/3 of the S.P
=825/3=Rs. 275
C.P =S.P +loss
=825+275 = 1100

S.P. = Rs. 1265
C.P. =. Rs. 1100
Profit percent= 1265 - 1100 = 165
= 165×100/1100
= 15%

1. Let the CP of the article be ₹x.

SP of the article = ₹825

Loss = 1/3 × ₹825

= ₹275

CP = SP + loss

= ₹825 + ₹275

= ₹1100

Ans.= The cost price of the article is ₹1100.

2. CP = ₹1100

SP = ₹ 1265

Profit = SP - CP

= ₹1265 - ₹1100

= ₹165

Profit% = profit / CP × 100

= ₹165 /₹1100 × 100

= 15

Ans.= He had a profit of 15%.
