A host, parasite is a relationship in which one organism harms the other organism.

  • A host is an organism on which another harmful organism resides and takes benefit from it.

  • A parasite is an organism which lives on a host and infects it.

  • Malaria is a diseases cause by the anopheles mosquito. As the mosquito infects the humans, hence the anopheles mosquito is the parasite.

  • As human being is the organism being infected by the mosquito, hence human beings are the host.
