By the end of 18th century, the demand for indigo grew further. What were reasons behind it ?

british trade cotton production expanded, creating an enormous new demand for cloth dyes. While the demand for indigo increased, its quantity also become less.also supply of indigo from other countries collapsed. so, british traders got increasement. also these dyes were not easily available so it's demand was there. it was very helpful to make violet and rich blue dyes.hence it has commercial importance.
