By the end of 1940 Hitler was at pinnacle of his power because he had successfully annexed almost all of western Europe within months i.e. Finland, Switzerland, Denmark, more than half of France including Paris and not to forget Poland just within 3-4 months this technique was called Blitzberg meaning lightening war. he was unstoppable and had also contested for power in british and french.
