Actually by use of organic fertilizers , the water holding capacity of soul increases,so the following statement will be wrong or false
• In general, the much more higher the percentage of silt or clay sized particles, the higher the water holding capacity than others. The small particles (clay and silt) have a much larger surface area than the larger sand particles. This large surface area allows the soil to hold a greater quantity of water. on the other hand sand particles didn't have these types of properties ,so they had no water holding capacity or less water holding capacity than others.
