Hi ,

Let x is the required number ,

according to the problem given ,

( -3/2 )^-3 × x = ( 9/8 )^-2

=> x = ( 9/8 )^-2 /( -3/2 )^-3

=> x = ( -3/2 )³ /( 9/8 )²

=> x = ( -3/2 )³ × ( 8/9 )²

x = ( - 3 × 3 × 3 × 8 × 8 )/(2 ×2×2×9×9)

x = 8/3

I hope this helps you.

-8/3 is the correct answer

step by step explanation

let the no. be X

X ×(-3/2)-³ =(9/8)-²

X ×8/-27 = 64

X =8/-27÷64/81

X = 8/-27×81/64X =3/-8

now reciprocal it because denominator is not in negative-8/3

reciprocal it because denominator is not in negative-8/3mark me as brainliest
