Let the number be x/y
Therefore,
x/y times 14/39 should be equal to -7/13
=> x/y * 14/39=-7/13
Multiply both sides by 39 and divide both sides by 14
=> x/y * 14/39 * 39/14= -7*39/13*14
=>x/y= -1*3/1*2
=>x/y= -3/2
Therefore,
x/y times 14/39 should be equal to -7/13
=> x/y * 14/39=-7/13
Multiply both sides by 39 and divide both sides by 14
=> x/y * 14/39 * 39/14= -7*39/13*14
=>x/y= -1*3/1*2
=>x/y= -3/2
