potential energy of a charge system:U=q

V=work done in bringing a charge q from infinity to a point with potential V

so joule =coloumb*volt J/C=VOLT

Answer:

The other name ofjoule/coulomb is called volt.

Explanation:

Energy has unit Joule.

I think it helps u

hello \: mate \:

the \: other \: name  \\ \: for \: unit \: joule \: per \: coulombs \\  \: is \: called \: volt \:

si \: unit \: of  \\ \: potential \: difference \: is \: volt \:

pd =  \frac{workdone}{charge}

here  \\ \: si \: unit \: of \: workdone  \: is \: joule  \\ \: and \\  \: si \: unit \: of \: charge \: is \: coulomb

therefore \: \\  \: volt \: can \: be \: defined \: as \: \\ joules \: per \: coulombs \:

 volt \:  = \frac{joule}{coulombs}

hope \: my \: answer \: helps \: you
