Hello !!

We have (c) × (2c), with (c) power 1 multiply (2c) with power 1.

(c)^1 × (2c)^1 = 2c^(1 + 1) = 2c^2

Final result : 2c^2.

I hope I have collaborated !

Answer:

c \times 2c =2 \times (c \times c) \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  = 2 \times  {c}^{2}  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  = 2 {c}^{2}

Note : We multiply number with number and variable with variable.
