4 {x}^{2}  - 4x + 1 \\  = 4 {x}^{2}  - (2 + 2)x + 1 \\  = 4 {x}^{2}  - 2x - 2x + 1 \\  = 2x(2x - 1) - 1(2x - 1) \\  = (2x - 1)(2x - 1)
