Given :

  • Mass of Object (m) = 8 kg
  • Potential Energy (P.E) = 560 J

To Find :

  • Height above the ground

Solution :

We have formula for Potential Energy :

\large {\boxed{\sf{P.E \: = \: mgh}}} \\ \\ \implies {\sf{h \: = \: \dfrac{P.E}{mg}}} \\ \\ \implies{\sf{h \: = \: \dfrac{560}{8 \: \times \: 10}}} \\ \\ \implies {\sf{h \: = \: \dfrac{560}{80}}} \\ \\ \implies {\sf{h \: = \: 7}} \\ \\ {\underline{\sf{\therefore \: height \: is \: 7 \: m}}}

Given,

Mass=8 kg

P.E=560J

G=10m/s²

To find out:-

Height at which object is with respect to ground.

Answer:-

height is 7 m

Solution:-

We know that

P.E=mgh

putting the value

Now,

560=8×10×h

=>560=80h

=>h=560/80

=>h=7
