C. ANSWER THE
FOLLOWING QUESTIONS IN 100 - 120 WORDS:
10. How do people represent themselves in a democracy?
Answers
Answer:
Explanation:Democracy, which derives from the Greek word demos, or people, is defined, basi- cally, as government in which the supreme power is vested in the people. In some forms, democracy can be exercised directly by the people; in large societies, it is by the people through their elected agents.
Explanation:
Laws are a good way to reform the country. These laws may discourage wrong political policies and encourage the right ones but the quality of democracy maybe jeopardized by such creation of laws. Solving various challenges of democracy does not only require new laws but it also requires attitudinal changes in the people and the government. Therefore, legal and constitutional changes cannot by themselves overcome the challenges of democracy.
