1) Greenland is located between the Arctic Ocean and the North Atlantic Ocean, northeast of Canada and northwest of Iceland. Greenland is a part of the arctic circle with sub zero temperature. Thus, the plains are covered with snow. Presently most of it's land area is covered by an ice cap which naturally makes it look white.
