Bose could not have become a professor without the help of Einstein.

• Satyendra Nath Bose was an Indian physicist and a brilliant mathematician.
• He did not possess a academic doctorate, but he applied for the official post of professor in Dhaka university.
• He was not necessarily eligible for the professor post under the prevailing rules, but Einstein had earnestly recommended him.  
• He was then made Head of the Physics Department at the University of Dhaka. At Dhaka University, he continued properly guiding and also teaching.
