  1. The bouncing of light from a surface is called reflection. Transmission refer to the amount of incident light that successfully passes through glass or other material and it expressed as a percentage of light.
  2. Ray is making 30° with mirror. Hence angle of incidence = 90-30 = 60° angle of incidence = angle of reflection = 60°

a) Reflection is the process by which electromagnetic radiation is returned either at the boundary between two media (surface reflection) or at the interior of a medium (volume reflection), whereas transmission is the passage of electromagnetic radiation through a medium.

b) Anything which gives out its own reflection by it is called an object. The incident ray will have an angle of reflection of 30∘ note that is made with a surface normal to the mirror surface. The reflected ray will make an angle of 60∘ with the mirror surface, (90∘−30∘).
