Volume of the piece of metal  = 38400 cm³

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of rectangle = 6.5 * 8 = 52 cm²

triangle 5  , 5 & 8

s = (5 + 5 + 8)/2 = 9

Area = √9(9 - 5)(9 - 5)(9 - 8)

= √9 * 4 * 4 * 1

= 12  cm²

Area = 52 + 12 = 64 cm²

6 m long piece of metal  = 600 cm

Volume of the piece of metal  =  600 * 64 = 38400 cm³

Total Surface Area  = 64 + 64  +  600(6.5 + 6.5 + 8 + 8 + 5 + 5)

= 128 + 600(39)

= 128 + 23400

= 23528 cm²
