c. The formation of ammonia is favoured by a high pressure and a low temperature.
i. Explain why, if a low temperature would give a high yield of ammonia, the gases are heated to 450oC rather than being cooled?
ii. Explain why, if the higher the pressure, the higher the yield of ammonia, a pressure of 200 atmospheres is used rather than a much higher one.
