c) A bowler runs a long distance before bowling because it wants to give speed to the ball and hence, momentum. After running the distance, when the bowler leaves the ball on reaching the line, he imparts the momentum gained by running to the ball.
2) eg - If you use the same force to push a truck and push a car, the car will have more acceleration than the truck, because the car has less mass. 3rd law = for every action (force) there is an equal and opposite reaction (force). eg - a swimmer pushes water backwards (action) . the water pushes him forward (reaction).
