Answer:

(i) End A is North pole, here the polarity is found out using right-hand screw rule, if we stretch our right hand, the curled fingers will show the direction of flowing current whereas the outstretched thumb will show north pole have positive polarity.

(ii) The magnetic field strength can be changed in the electromagnet. But not in the permanent magnet.
