SOLUTION

Given equation,

c^{2} + 4 = 8c-8\\

=>c^{2} -8c+4+8=0

=>c^{2} -8c + 12 = 0

=>c^{2} - 2c- 6c + 12=0

=> c(c-2)-6(c-2)=0

=> (c-6)(c-2)=0

Now,

c-6=0\\=> c = 6

c-2=0\\=> c =2

∴ The values of c are 2 and 6.
