Cadets are marching in a parade. there are 5 cadets in a row. What is the rule which gives the number of cadets given the number of row.

{\huge{\underline{\underline{\sf{\blue{Solution:-}}}}}}

Hence,

In one row , the number of cadets = 5.

Now, in two rows, the number of cadets = 10 = 5 × 2

Similarly,

In three rows, the number of cadets = 15 = 5 × 3

Going by this pattern , If there are n numbers of rows , then the number od cadets = 5 × n = 5n
