Ans:
 2Ca + O₂→2 CaO
40 grams of Calcium reacts with 16 grams of Oxygen in the ratio of 5:2 to form 56 grams of Calcium oxide (as per the balanced equation).
40 grams of Calcium requires 16 grams of Oxygen to form Calcium oxide.
1.5  grams of Calcium requires ‘x’ grams of Oxygen to form Calcium oxide.
x = (16*2.5)/40
   = 1 gram
Therefore 2.5 grams of Calcium requires 1 gram of Oxygen to form Calcium Oxide.
