according to the empirical formula....there are equal no of carbon and hydrogen atoms...let it be x ..then equating atomic weights...x(13)=78..x=6

Emperical formula mass = 12 + 1 = 13 grams
n = Molecular mass / Emperical formula mass
= 78 g / (13 g)
= 6
Molecular formula = 6 × CH = C₆H₆
n = Molecular mass / Emperical formula mass
= 78 g / (13 g)
= 6
Molecular formula = 6 × CH = C₆H₆
