according to the question,
2x = x/2 + 60
=> x/2 = 2x - 60
=> x/2 = 2(x - 30)
=> x/(2×2) = x - 30
=>x/4 = x - 30
=> x/4 - x = -30
=> (x-4x)/4 = -30
=> -3x/4 = -30
=> -3x = -30×4
=> -3x = -120
=> x = -120/-3
=> x = 40
Hence we found that the number (x) is 40.
