Calculate BEP from the following.
Fixed expenses Rs. 1,50,000
Variable cost per unit Rs.10
Selling price per unit Rs.15

Explanation:

BEP = Fixed cost ÷ (selling price per unit - variable cost per unit)

= 150000 ÷ (15-10)

= 150000 ÷ 5

= 30000

BEP is 30000
