Given:

Mass of alcohol=25 ml

Mass of water=75 ml

To find:

Concentration of solution

Answer:

25%

Solution:-

Mass of Solute=25 ml

Mass of Solvent=75 ml

Total solution=75+25

=100 ml

We know that

Mass percentage of solution

 =  \frac{mass \: of \: solute}{total \: solution} \times 100\%

 =  \frac{25}{100} \times 100\%

 = 25\%

Given :

  • Mass of solvent = 25 ml
  • Mass of solute = 75 ml

∴ Mass of solution = Mass of solvent + Mass of solute

=> 25 ml + 75 ml

=> 100 ml

Find :

Concentration of solution in terms of percentage.

Solution :

We know that,

Concentration of solution = Mass of solute/Total mass of solution × 100%

We have,

Mass of solute = 25 ml

Total mass of solution = 100 ml

=> 25/100 × 100%

=> 25%

25% is the concentration of solution in terms of percentage.
