R3+R4=8ohm
1/Rs=1/8+1/8=2/8=1/4
Rs=4ohm.
I=V/R
=12/4=3amp.

A. If the key is open then the current will be 0 because it can't pass in a circuit.
B. If the key is closed
So, V=12v
R1+R2=8 ohm
R3+R4=8 ohm
Now equivalent resistance will be:1/8+1/8=2/8
Therefore, R=4 ohm.
I=V/R=12/4=3AMP.
