Given, Initial velocity, u = 20m/s

Distance ,S= 20 m

Acceleration, a = 30 m/s²

Final velocity ,v = ?

Using Newton's third equation of motion,

v² = u² + 2aS

v² = ( 20 ) ² +2 × 30 × 20

v² = 400 + 1200

v² = 1600

v = 1600

v = 40 m/s

Therefore, final velocity is

40 m/s .
