Answer :-

Let us first know what is Mass, Area and force -

  • Mass - Mass is the amount of matter in an object.

  • Area - Area is defined as space occupied by flat surface.

  • Acceleration - Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity.

  • Force - Force is the cause which can produce or tries to produces acceleration in the body on which it acts.

i)

✯ Given :-

  • Mass, m = 5 kg
  • Area, a = 5 m²
  • Acceleration = 5 m/s²

✯ To Find :-

Force

✯ Solution :-

We know that,

\rm Force = Mass \times Acceleration

➩ Force = 5 × 5

\boxed{\underline{\sf\red{Force = 25 N }}}

ii)

✯ Given :-

  • Mass, m = 20 kg
  • Area, a = 2 m²
  • Acceleration = 2 m/s²

✯ Solution :-

Substituting the values -

➩ Force = 20 × 2

\boxed{\underline{\sf\red{Force = 40 N }}}

iii)

✯ Given :-

  • Mass of earth = \sf 6 \times 10^{24} kg
  • Area of earth = \sf 5.1 \times 10^{14} m^2
  • Acceleration = \sf 5.1 \times 10^{14} m/s^2

✯ Solution :-

Substituting the values -

\sf Force = 6 \times 5.1 \times 10^{24} \times 10^{14}

\boxed{\underline{\sf\red{Force = 30.6 \times 10^{38} N}}}

Force :

Push or pull taken or given by an object or a body on another body or Object .

\\

Mass :

\\

The total amount of mass or substances present in one unit space and they form some matter .

\\

Area :

The total amount of space taken by a body .

Acceleration :

Rate of change in velocity .

\\

\\

For solving the given problems we just need to know one formula :

\\

\large{\boxed{\sf{\blue{F = m \times a}}}}

This means Force = Mass × Acceleration

\\

As anything that moves with an acceleration and has a force is the product of Mass and acceleration .

(i)

Mass ➜ 5kg

Area ➜ 5m²

Acceleration ➜ 5m/s²

F = m × a

Force = 5kg × 5m/s²

Force = 25N

\\

\\

(ii)

Mass ➜ 20kg

Area ➜ 2m²

Acceleration ➜ 2m/s²

F = m × a

Force = 20kg × 2m/s²

Force = 40N

\\

\\

(iii)

Mass➜ Mass of earth➜ 5.972 × 10²⁴ kg

Area ➜ Area of Earth ➜ 510.1 million km²

Acceleration ➜ 9.8 m/s²

F = m × a

Force = (5.972 × 10²⁴) × 9.8m/s²

The sum is too long to be considered and remembered do it's simply written like this :

6× 5.1 × 10²⁴ × 10¹⁴

= 30.6×10³⁸N

\\

Thus ,

we have solved all the problems with just one formula :

F = m × a
