so, Ca + C + O *3
= 40+12+48
=100 u

NaCl
na=23 , cl=35.4
= na+cl
= 23+35.4
=58.4 u

c=12, h=1
= c*2 +h*4
=24+4

Atomic mass of Calcium= Ca= 40

Atomic mass of Oxygen= O =16

Formula unit mass of CaCO3⇒ 40+12+16×3 = 100 u

Atomic mass of Sodium= Na= 23

Atomic mass of Chlorine= Cl= 35.5

Formula unit mass of NaCl⇒ 23 + 35.5 = 58.5 u
