Hi, please consider the answer given below;

G for the conversion of oxygen to ozone

3/2 O2 -----> O3 at 298K. Kp for this conversion is 2.47 X 10-29

So here we get the formula for the calculation of the Gibbs free energy as

G= -RT lnkp

Where R is the gas constant, T is the kelvin temperature

Therefore G = -8.314 x 298 x 2.303 log(2.47 x 10^-29)

                 G = 163228.93 J

Answer:

Explanation:

♢rG°= -2.303logKp (R=8.314JK-1 mol-1)

= -2.303×8.314×298K×log2.47×10^-29

= 163000Jmol-1 = 163KJmol-1
