We can write an equation for 'acceleration due gravity(g)' as below,

g = GM/R^{2}

Where,

g = acceleration due to gravity

G = universal gravitational constant =6.67408 × 10-11 m3 kg-1 s-2

M = mass of the earth =5.972 × 10^24 kg

R = radius = (radius of the earth+64) or (radius of the earth -32)

                 =(6371+64) or (6371-32)

                 =6435 or 6339

Now we can substitute above values for above equation,

a)  g1 = (6.67408 × 10-11 *5.972 × 10^24)/6435²

         =9.6253× 10^6 m/s²

b) g2 = (6.67408 × 10-11 *5.972 × 10^24)/6339²

         =9.9190× 10^6 m/s²
