We can solve this by the AP.

Now,

Multiples of 7 between 100 and 300 is starting with 105 and goes on till 294.

So, the AP is : 105,112,119,126........294

First term (a) = 105, common difference (d) = 7 , Number of multiple between 100 and 300 (n) = ? , aⁿ = 294 [We are taking the nth term 294 because that is the last multiple of 7 between 100 and 300]

aⁿ = a + (n - 1)d

=> 294 = 105 + (n - 1) × 7

=> (n - 1)7 = 294 - 105

=> n - 1 = 189/7

=> n = 27 + 1

=> n = 28

Therefore,

There are 28 multiples of 7 between 100 and 300.
