the Mass of C = 12u mass of H = 1u mass of O = 16u

amu of sugar =( 12×12) + (1×22)+ (16×11)

=144 + 22 + 176 = 342u

molar mass = 342 gram

mass = no. of moles × molar mass = 0.5 × 342 = 171 gram

Answer:

the Mass of C = 12u mass of H = 1u mass of O = 16u

amu of sugar =( 12×12) + (1×22)+ (16×11)

=144 + 22 + 176 = 342u

molar mass = 342 gram

mass = no. of moles × molar mass = 0.5 × 342 = 171 gram
